Terms of Service

Welcome to Shisui. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website located at https://shisui.gg/ and of Shisui ("the Bot"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Site. These Terms apply to all users of the bot and website.

Shisui is operated by Shisui LLC, a limited liability company established in Michigan, United States.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Shisui. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement. Users found to be under 13 will have their accounts and data permanently removed.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Shisui for personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license ends the moment these Terms end, for any reason.

Your Shisui account is tied to your Discord account. You are responsible for everything that happens through it, including any action taken by someone you gave access to. Keep your Discord account secure.

To protect the game from alternate accounts and automation, we may ask you to verify your account before you can use some features, for example with a captcha and automated checks of your connection. A failed or refused verification can limit what you can do with Shisui.

You may stop using Shisui at any time and request deletion of your account and data through our support server or at [email protected]. Deletion is permanent: your progress, collection, and any unspent Shards or other virtual currency are removed, cannot be restored, and are not refunded.

The following are strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent blacklist:

Honesty is rewarded. Come to us before we find out and it counts in your favor.

Shisui comes with creative tools: Pixel Studio, where you draw custom artwork for cards ("Sketches"), Album Studio, where you design album pages and upload your own backgrounds, and Glitter FX Studio, where you add effects to cards. A Sketch includes the finished image, its layers, the stroke data behind it, and any palettes saved with it.

Sketches belong to Shisui LLC, not to you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assign to Shisui LLC all right, title, and interest in your Sketches, including all intellectual property rights, at the moment they are created or saved. Where such an assignment is not permitted by law, you instead grant Shisui LLC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, host, store, copy, modify, publish, and display them for any purpose, and you waive any moral rights in them so far as the law allows.

You remain responsible for what you draw. You may not create or save a Sketch that infringes someone else's rights, or that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit, or that breaks section 4. Sketches may be shown to other users where a feature provides for it. We may remove, edit, or refuse to display any Sketch at any time and without notice, and we are under no obligation to store or return it.

Uploads. Some features let you upload your own images, for example backgrounds for your pages in Album Studio. You keep whatever rights you have in an upload, and you grant Shisui LLC a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, process, and display it within Shisui for as long as it is in use. You may only upload images you have the right to use, and the same content rules as for Sketches apply. Uploads are checked automatically and may be reviewed by staff. We may refuse or remove any upload, and Shards spent on an upload that is removed for breaking these Terms are not refunded.

Shisui LLC reserves the right to blacklist any user at any time for violating these Terms or for conduct deemed harmful to the community. A blacklist results in a permanent ban from all Shisui services, including the bot and website.

We may also take lesser measures, such as locking trades, limiting features, removing items gained through a violation, or placing an account under closer review, temporarily or permanently and with or without prior notice.

If you believe your blacklist was issued in error, you may submit an appeal through our official support server or at [email protected]. Appeals are reviewed at our discretion and are not guaranteed to be overturned.

Shisui offers optional paid features processed through Stripe. All prices are in US dollars. Purchases are one-time purchases of Shards or other virtual items, there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe's Services Terms in addition to these Terms.

Before every purchase you must confirm that Shards are a virtual currency with no monetary value, that they are non-refundable, and that you waive your right to a chargeback or dispute for that transaction. We may change prices and the contents of any package at any time. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

If a completed payment does not deliver, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days and we will credit the missing Shards.

Consumers in the EEA and the UK: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Shards are delivered immediately. By confirming the acknowledgement at checkout you expressly request that immediate delivery and accept that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun.

All in-game items, cards, currency, and virtual goods in Shisui have no real-world monetary value. They are provided as part of the game experience and may be modified, removed, or reset at any time. We are not responsible for any loss of virtual items due to account actions, rule enforcement, or service changes.

Virtual items are licensed to you for use inside Shisui. They are not your property and cannot be redeemed for money.

Shisui lets you trade cards, items, and currency with other players. Every trade is final once both sides have confirmed it. We do not reverse, undo, or compensate trades, including trades you regret or trades that turn out to be unfair.

Trades are made between players, and Shisui LLC is not a party to them. You are responsible for checking what you give and what you receive before you confirm. We are not liable for any loss from a trade, and trading for real money is covered by section 4.

Some features hand out rewards at random, for example Shrine summons, boxes, and drops. The chances for Shrine summons, including any pity, are shown in the Shrine before you summon. Every result is final: currency or items spent on a random reward are not refunded because of what you received, and we may adjust rates, pools, and pity for future pulls at any time.

Seasonal content, such as the Pilgrimage Pass and its rewards, is only available during its season. Rewards that are not claimed before a season ends may be lost, and a pass bought for one season does not carry over to the next.

We strive to keep our services running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that our platform will be available 100% of the time. The services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, server upgrades, or unexpected technical failures.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any loss or inconvenience caused by service downtime.

The Shisui name, logo, website, bot, and our own original assets are the property of Shisui LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of them without explicit written permission.

The Shisui bot, website, and the software behind them are designed and developed by Semicolab. That software is owned jointly by Shisui LLC and Semicolab and is not licensed to you. Nothing in these Terms gives you any right to copy, decompile, or reuse it.

Cards and other material in Shisui may depict characters, artwork, and trademarks owned by third parties. Those remain the property of their respective owners and are used for non-commercial fan purposes only. Shisui is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of those rights holders.

We respect the rights of creators. If you own a work that appears in Shisui without permission, email [email protected] with:

• Identification of the work you claim has been infringed.
• Identification of the material in Shisui and where to find it, for example the card code or a link.
• Your name, address, and email address.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

We remove validly reported material promptly and blacklist accounts that infringe repeatedly.

Shisui runs on Discord and uses Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for security, and top.gg for voting. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while using Shisui. Shisui is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc. What we do with your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Shisui is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defect will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shisui LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, virtual items, or progress, arising out of or relating to your use of Shisui.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shisui LLC, its members, and its staff against any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, your Sketches, or your breach of these Terms.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Alpena County, Michigan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or from your use of Shisui, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this choice of law and venue does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that provision is applied to the greatest extent the law allows. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Shisui LLC about the service. The English version of these Terms controls.

We may modify these Terms at our sole discretion at any time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. However, it remains your obligation to review the Terms regularly. Continued use of the platform constitutes binding acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions. Significant changes will be announced in our support server.
